People say "you don't need makeup. Only mascara. Your too young."
Well, I am 13. I'm in 7th grade. I have acne and several spots all over my face. It's not like I'm a baby anymore, and no, I cannot only wear mascara. Some people seem not to uderstand that, so I'm just putting it out there: SOME 7th GRADERS DO HAVE REALLY BAD SKIN AND DONT FEEL CONFIDENT ABOUT IT.

I know what your talking about I have bad skin too and I'm going into grade 8 in 7th I would pile on heavy foundation and it looked awful. But I eventually got better. But it made my skin worse so I turned to just using bb cream and concealer. I also where mascara and eyeliner and powder. Some people say it's to much but people my age are wearing thick thick eyeliner and blue eyeshadow!? I can wear face makeup. :)

I know you don't want to hear this, but it really is best if you wait to wear foundation because from experience, I know it will only cover up the problem. Most people have acne in middle school, and if you keep your skin super clean now, it'll clear up! Otherwise, just keep a concealer stick for the really bad pimples.

I had bad skin too. For 7th grade I used concealer and liquid foundation, but I found that using powder foundation worked a lot better for my skin because I don't even need to use concealer or powder on top. So pretty much you're not using as much stuff on your face that'll clog up pores faster!

Use a foundation with salicylic acid. That's an acne fighting chemical. Almay sells one (its one of my faves) and so does Neutrogena. I don't know if I would see it improves your skin, but it doesn't clog pores or irritate your skin like some other foundations do. Also, to cure acne I use Oxy face pads and face wash. It works amazing! Within 1 week, all my acne is gone. Totally recommend!

I actually completely agree with you since I wore makeup in seventh grade myself. It's not always that a girl is only wearing it because she wants to look older!

I'm going in to freshman year and when I was in seventh grade I used a light foundation cg nature luxe, and concealer, set it with a powder then applied mascara, I just added a little more concealer on problem areas. Hope I helped.

Also make sure you remove all your makeup before you go to bed and keep your skin as clean as you can.

I treat my acne everyday, and a lot. More than every person I know. I even use makeup that have acne solutions.

I like the l'oreal trumatch concealer it makes your skin look flawless maybe you could wear a tinted lip balm too or a tinted mosturizer or cc cream if you really want it.
