Try using the frost n glow lot. It comes with a cap and you can use it to get highlights, but I'm not sure about doing all your hair. I used it on my very dark hair and got honey colored hair, and with minimal damage!

I would just advise for you to gradually try to get there , when going platinum your stripping all the melanin out of your hair and blowing up the cuticle of your hair. Also I would suggest not dying it dark anymore because it will just make it harder to get to the tone you want.
