So I just got highlights yesterday in a chestnut color and I don't know if this is counted as brassy. If it is brassy how can I tone it down and make it look sort of darker? Or does it look good?

I like it. brassy or not, I think it looks good with the rest of your dark hair.

Lighter than brassy, but they look way better as a brassy look would blend in more, I love how they subtley stand out! :)

I have similar highlights and after several washes mine will turn brassy so I use a purple shampoo once a week from Sally's and my hair looks good the whole time.
