Modest outfit ideas?

I'm a muslim and so covering is very important to me when dressing, especially now that I'm starting my college years of school soon and therefore I have to wear a different outfit to school everyday. usually I wear maxi skirts with different blouses but I was wondering if you guys have any outfit ideas besides maxi skirts/dresses that cover? anything with jeans, long tops? how to wear an oversized cardi? I would be so grateful if you guys could suggest some ideas.

Try out everything! Hit up a clothing store, and have associates help you pick out some clothes! Try them on and find YOUR style.. Most important thing is to be yourself and wear clothes you like and feel comfortable in!

I am not modest but I have a health condition that makes me unable to regulate my body temp very easily, so I layer a long cotton/poly handkerchief hem cardigan over my clothing. I used to be heavily involved with a church that promoted modesty, but also frowned strongly on makeup so I get the whole idea of it. One thing you may want to avoid is corduroy and denim skirts. They get way too uncomfortable when you are walking from class to class. Viscose/ Rayon are much more comfortable.
