What I do is I put a dot were I whant the wing to end and then I look at the other eye and try to put it in the same spot anth then try and wing it out to the dot I also do eyeshadow last so I can use a cue tip to correct mistakes.

I normally hold a tissue in line with my lash line to get the perfect straight line that way I don't have to use tape :)
