Totally worth "it." It? The pain you mean? Tattoos don't HAVE to have a meaning, more than one of mine have NO meaning and some I have planned for the future have really no meaning, if you like something then get it if you want. If you get something meaningful or symbolic tattooed it just makes for a better story if someone asks 'why' you got said tat (other than BECAUSE YOU WANTED TO, of course).

When I said worth it I was talking about the pain as y'all can see I just got the skull because it was cute but I just want my next one to mean something to me because I see so many cute tattoos and I'm like ooh I want that but then I have to be like Tiffany slow down are you going to like that in 5yrs lol.

I think they are worth it! I plan on getting a couple when I am an adult! I want to save up for a fantastic artist to do my tattoo! I want angel wings, my favorite quote ever , a compass for my wanderlust, and plenty other things I love! I was honestly considering a sleeve! Half or full! I love them so much! But honestly I hate fad tattoos... Why get something tattooed on your body that will stay there for ever that was only a fad for a couple months!

I have an anchor on my forearm. it felt like a little fork scraping at my arm! it's kind of just a reminder to stay anchored to my beliefs and not be swayed by the opinions of others. its dark blue so I am thinking of getting a gradient sleeve around it.

I love tattoos! And as long as you're sure you'll want it forever, I say go for it. I don't have any so I can't really comment on the pain factor, but the pain won't last long and the tattoo will last forever :) I want to get 'have faith in me' in small-ish writing on my lower forearm :3.

It depends on what you get and wear you get them some people tattoos are cute some are stupid some are meaning I don't have any but my first one will,be my fathers name on my back with angel wings.

Althea, be totally honest with yourself about whether you like it or not. but don't sweat thinking about if you'll like it ten years down the line. you have no way of knowing. the most important part is remembering what it meant to you at the time and honoring that part of your past.

I like them as long as its not super weird and like on your face and your "area". I've always wanted a small tattoo on my ankle of the pisces symbol.
