Hey everybody so my hair is about 5 inches below my shoulders and I'm so ready for it to get longer. My hair takes forever to grow. Last tome I got a cut was about at the end of April of this year. I know its about time for another trim, but my hair is extremely healthy excepts tends to get dry easily. Is there anything I could use for hair growth and anything to help with dryness?

Braid your hair every night before you go to bed and sleep on it! The tightness pulls your hair from your scalp and will help it grow faster!

^^ first time I've ever heard that. Your logic makes no sense. Pulling your hair tight is bad for the scalp. Thats why a lot of females have a thin scalp around the hair line.

Braiding your hair at night tightly will damage it and make it grow slower lol Ashley look up the olive oil hair growth thing(: it's too much to explain but I've only been doing it for 2 days and my hair has grown an inch!

I think what Shay means is to braid your hair every night, not tightly. It helps to decrease the amount of breakage of your hair every night. It works wonders!

Make some deep treatement to your hair like coconut oil, olive oil or the macadamia hair mask (; that should help!

Stay away from heat! try to only apply heat to your hair every 3months if that & keep it well moisturized. You'll see:)

Make sure you drink enough water. if you don't your hair will always he dry no matter what. color also have a damaging effect. for growth I heard massaging your scalp helps by making the blood stream in your scalp more active thus nourishing the hair follicles.
