The best thing to do is to apply a warm compress to the area, make sure to clean around it (baby soap, something gentle) and to repeat the warm compress (you can also use a tea bag). It's best to not apply any makeup to the eye area because that can spread the infection or make the stye even worse. I hate styes and I get them often when I'm stressed (and they stress me out even more! ;p) Hope it goes away soon, have a great day!

One way that I like to apply the warm compress is through using a mug (usually with tea since you can use the tea bag and apply it onto your stye afterwards) but I like to rest the mug so that the steam will help to warm the area with the stye and allow for it to drain. Hope that helps.

Try putting a warm wash clothe on it to soothe the puffiness and then freeze a damp makeup wipe for a few and rub lightly under your eye near the lash lines too and bottom... Works for me hope that helps.
