Cassandra: Most bathing suits, bikinis and one-peace suits -- all show ass. The bottoms are 'panty' shape. So, inevitably, you end up showing ass. Unless you wear swim shorts that cover up of course. :\

My goodness ladies..you're tired of hearing "let them do what makes them feel comfortable" and where tired of hearing you guys call us vulgar names for the way we dress..can't we just agree to disagree? I don't care if you're are scantily dressed or covered from head to toe..if I hear someone bashing on you because of that, I with so many others see the one who is truly being disrespectful and you better be darn sure I will stand next to whoever is being accosted and back them up 100%. I get your point Cassandra. However, I see children all the time at the beach. Even the children wear small versions of grown up bathing suits which are 'panty' shape. So, I just don't see what becomes so offensive when a child sees a bit of butt cheek in public, as opposed to the beach... :\

It's a bit of cheek for poop sakes..nobody's running around flashing your kids their completely nude bottoms (although there is the occasional creepy old man who does) you are making it sound like we are evil devils conspiring to teach your children about butts...lol I mean come'on really?? Children don't go to clubs. However, children are in public and at the beach. So, in the normal places that normal people go to, I don't see why in walmart versus the beach its so bad to show a bit of butt.

Here's a little story. a true story...
one day these two gals came into Lush (my work) to check out some bath treats. its summer so naturally they were in the standard tank and short shorts. well, in comes this guy and he goes and stands awkwardly close to them. my manager finds this weird and decides to investigate. as she approaches she sees that he has his phone out but he's holding it at an odd angle. he was trying to film up their shorts!! she walks up to him and discreetly tells him to get the hell out. he does but only walks a few yards away hoping my manager won't see him. she does and he starts running. she then informes the poor girls on what just happened and calls the mall security to have them escorted to their office where they could be safely picked up by a parent. I don't think the girls were intentionally trying to get that kind of attention but its obvious that they are still naive

My point is if you're going to dress provocatively at least be aware of the consequences. learn to handle yourself in a dangerous situation at the very least but don't be stupid enough to think that they way you dress won't effect the people around you not to mention yourself.

I don't care if you go neked. I can handle seein a boob or a butt or for gods sake a penis without gasping for air and praying for relief from the burning of my eyes. its this minority sick freaks, and they can be female as well, that will take advantage of that if you don't protect yourself. I could personally handle myself but a big reason why I don't dress provocatively is I'm uncomfortable showing that much of my body. I think the human body is a beautiful and the most perfect creation but not everyone thinks like that.

Everybody seems to have a different opinion as to why they don't agree with ladies exposing too much in public... Some think its bad for kids to see and 'learn', some think it calls for perv attention, some feel jealous at their man taking a look, some simply get offended themselves, and some are just jealous. Let's not forget the religious reasons as well. Lol.
