Honestly I would stay away from mousse gel and hairspray they contain a lot of alcohol which is extremely drying especially for curly hair. you have amazing beautiful curls use a curl cream that's all natural. it'll hold the curls better and it will not let them be crunchy plus it has natural products so it won't harm your hair. try curls unleashed or au naturale they sell it at sallys beauty supply. do a deep conditioning treatment atleast once a week:) hope this helps doll I am a girl with natural curls and I'm also a cosmetologist ;)

I have super curly hair too! I honestly only use leave in conditioner when my hair is wet, let it dry for as frizz-free locks as possible and then add a little shine by running a dime-size amount of coconut oil through my mane. Keep it simple, don't use too many products. If you HAVE to use mousse, use it after your hair is already dry... But your curls are so tight I sincerely doubt you need it!
I also do a deep condition once a week like Fela^^

Try some of the lines created for girls with curls like Ouidad, DevaCurl, and Miss Jessie's. some are a bit expensive but curly hair needs a little extra attention!

In beauty school we used setting lotion for our wet sets and ever since then I've sworn by it for curly hair. you can get it at sallys and dilute it with water in a spray bottle. I would spray it on while the hair was wet and then use a diffuser upside down to dry the hair. it dries crunchy but once you comb it out its super soft! then I apply an oil of some kind to reform the individual curls. if its too crunchy for you dilute it more, its a trial and error kind of product but once you find your balance I think youll love it!
