Looks good, especially for a first time! Though, for your hooded eyes I would make the kind along your eye thinner, then do the wing while keeping your eye open so you can figure hot where to put it. You wanna lift the eye so try going more upwards. Also, make sure you extreme to at least the third inner corner of the eye.

Why don't you bring the liner in towards the inner corner?

Actually I don't know why I don't pull the liner all the way to my corner. I never have, even with pencil liner. I get the sense that it makes people's eyes look small but I'll try it!

Liner on the bottom will close your eye. Top liner won't do that normally, unless it's extremely heavy which yours isn't.

Perfect!!

Just make the actually liner thinner. Your eyes are hooded so thick liner closes the eye even more.

Haha oh my, I didn't notice how many mistakes I did in that last reply. This new update is really messing me uo.

Actually not true- for a hooded eye a thicker liner works because otherwise it isn't seen.
I'd say your eyes are between deepest and hooded, a serious hood wouldn't have that much space on the lid.
I have hooded lids as well and prefer thicker liner. I feel like thin liner looks funny partifpcularly since it gets eaten by the excess skin.

What do you mean by hooded? I always thought that a hooded eye had no crease?
Oct 14, 2013
Carolyn H.
A monolid has no crease (ex. An Asian eye)
A hooded eye has more skin so when it's fully open it covers the lid of the eye, you do had
Ve a bit of a hooded eye. It's not a bad thing, you just need to learn the tricks that cater for your eye sale :)
