There's a lot of subtle ways to change up your makeup look.
You can try a coloured mascara, like a blue or green or purple. Even a brown would be a subtle change. There's darker tones (navy blues etc) if you want something more subtle, you can also tone it down by only applying on either the base or the tips of your lashes.
Another great way to add a pop of colour is to apply a coloured shadow to the lower lash line, with any neutral eyeshadow look you like! I've been loving deep burgundies and royal purples recently, and the occasional blue! It's really fun to play with and you can choose colours that bring out your eyes! And of course, you can do this on the top lash line as well if you prefer.
What I've been loving a lot lately, is applying a crazy colour into my crease (like reds or oranges, my recent favorites, but you can try anything) then diluting it with a brown. It'll give a hint or a haze of that colour without being too in-your-face
You can also change your lips up, that's always super fun. I find the best way to test out new lip colours especially for every day use, is to use a tinted lip balm or even just sheer out your lipstick with your finger. It will still give you the colour but not as intense. Coloured lip gloss will give you this effect as well.
