It depends on bristle type a little, with my natural fibers I find they need a little conditioning, but my synthetics don't. I use Parian Spirits cleanser on the heavily pigmented brushes, I.e. foundation, lip, and some eyeshadow. The rest are washed in olive oil shampoo and hot water. I deep clean everything in Parian once and a while, but the solvents can mess with the glue holding everything together if you aren't careful. I dry mine gently with a towel, and then let them air dry on a metal rack with a couple paper towels. I reshape by hand, you don't need to buy special reshaping tools. I use beauty so clean conditioning spray to keep them soft and kill any bacteria lurking on them.
