Just a curious question, I've had the bad habit of being an occasional smoker and I seem to breakout a lot around my chin and jawline. I wash my face every night/morning but does smoking have anything to do with breakouts?

Idk, I've never had a problem with it. I'm just an occasional smoker for about 2 years now and I've never broken out because of it. I'm sure long term it will effect acne and everything, buy it might just be your diet or hormones right now that's causing the breakouts.

I feel like it does but I got nothing to back it up but I have noticed the same thing too that when I smoke I break out.

Smoking does age your skin.

It depends on the person, as everyone works differently. The chin area signals that your body is going through abnormal hormone changes. that being said, there are people (quiet common) who's hormones get affected by nicotine addiction. There's a high chance that your smoking habit is the reason. Also visit a ob/gyn to see what's up :)

Varvara I. Your on point. Thank you. Smoking does age your skin. Time will tell. It may not happen now. But later on it will catch up to you.

Depends on the person. I used to smoke before I got pregnant. And I never broke out.

No it doesn't it can cause ageing faster but breaking out is hormonal or genes or dirt in your pores.

I have smoked for seven years now, I don't have problems with acne, but it will cause dry lips. It also restricts oxygen in your system so your skin gets less nourishment. I'm twenty one with not the youngest looking eyes, smoking is probably the culprit.
