How long should it take for me to do this it's basically waving your hair. And do you like the look of it? I will get a pic.

It depends on the length and thickness of your hair, as well as how well your hair responds to heat. The larger the waves created by the iron the less time it will take to do your hair also. It takes longer than straightening or curling for me, it's met like the time it takes to blow dry from very damp because of the amount of time you have to spend on each section. Good luck:)

Before I straighten my hair I use a heat protecting serum. I don't know the brand but it's a little thicker than water and it acts like a conditioner to protect your hair from the heat. There's tonnes of heat protecting sprays from supermarkets
