It's generally not ever appropriate to wear black to a wedding.

Where is the location of the wedding (ceremony and reception)? what month is the wedding? and what time of day is the wedding? do they have a dress code on the invite?

It looks more club scene. Also I wouldn't wear a belt with it. If you do wear it

It's a sexy dress but not appropriate for a wedding.

I like it..if you are not to close to the wedding party you can totally pull it off. however I would make it more formal by wearing nude pumps, no belt cause it will casualize it..insted a long multi layered gold or rose gold color necklace and bracelet, depending on the color of your accessories I would match a gold or rose gold/ brown eyesmake up and mauve lipstick or rosey color, this would make it more weddingy and more formal in my opinion :) good luck.

Yes especially if you dress it up, and make it super classy with jewelry/shoes/makeup/hair.

I wouldn't recommend it. Since you were checking out LuLu's, some dresses they have that would be wedding appropriate are: The Whole Package Strapless Navy Sequin Dress, Rubber Ducky Suite Life Backless Wine Dress and Hot Off The Precious Burgundy Dress.

It's a beautiful dress, but try wearing it without the belt. it's not really wedding appropriate, but you should definitely buy it if you're looking for some party dresses :)

I agree with all the ladies...awesome dress but not for a wedding! :)

I love the dress but I'd suggest something either gray or maybe a deep purple or blue with no dramatic cut outs for the wedding. You don't want to take attention from the bride!! My step mom didn't even let me wear my red heels until after the ceremony! Lol.

You know what? I LOVE it! It is super cute. Who cares if it's black? If you aren't getting married then you can do whatever. You can look sexy as well :)

I'd wear it but everyone else says no... so no?

If black is part of the color themes then yes. My aunt did a blak and white wedding asking everyone to wear black.
