You could maybe talk about the way clothes are made and the condition of the factories where these clothes are manufactured. You could mention the third world countries which big companies use in order to mass produce clothes. Paying very little and selling at extortionate prices. You could also mention animal rights and the price they have to pay in the name of fashion. It's a big subject and if you start to do some research into these topics you'll find plenty to talk about. Hope that helps Arshi :) x

Crocs
Booty shorts (with it all sticking out)
Heavy face makeup (heavy eyes, heavy eyebrows, and heavy lips all together)
Half up hairdos (hair donts)
I'm sure there's a lot. You could even google the worst trends. It would probably give you a list. Is that what you were looking for?

Maybe models and eating disorders? That seems to be a real and relevant topic as well.

Maybe you could do how models starve themselves to get into size zeros, when they are not normally built to be so small. if they are larger than that, they are cut from fashion.

Shumi has a real good perspective, these are important subjects. Another important subject is the glamorous jobs in the industry, mostly models, they live in a world full of insecureties, sex pressure, drugs, alcohol and eating disorders. A former vicorias secret angel has written a book about this world and I am sure you can find a lot of good articles about that.

The industry's inability to embrace minority designers. The only one I can name who has really made it thru is Tracey Reese along with Vera Wang but it would certainly be nice to see more women/men of color receiving accolades and presence in stores.

May be models and actress how they look actual without makeup!

Lack of the industry to embrace minority models and designers unless they are trying to do an 'ethnic' theme.
Or, when they have white models do black face or yellow face instead of hiring actual models of those ethnicities.

I would definitely talk about models and eating disorders, drugs, etc. and the negative influence it has on young girls who are led to believe to be accepted you have to look a certain way.

The models the eating disorders the drug use to stay thin. You can go so many directions with this one. Victoria Beckham isnt a model but she would go on a grape diet. Whenever she was hungry she would eat a few grapes and nothing more. Or the typical model diet coffee and cigarettes and sometimes cocaine
