Ombre nails is giving me a headache!!

Okay, I give up!!

I can not seem to perfect an ombre nail no matter how much I try!

How do you girls do the transition between the nails? I use a sponge, but I get like a line between the colors instead of a fluent transition!
Help me please :):):):)

What if you use like a qtip or toothpick dipped in a little remover and maybe do a gentle 'scribble' at the line to get them blended and allow the colors to bleed into each other a little better and make it less blunt?

I find using 3 similar colors instead of 2 makes it look more blended. Also, I dab the sponge up and down my nail rather than just in the same spot.

Chelsy do you maybe have a suggestion on what 3 colors that would be easy to do :) Btw I checked out your profile, you do awesome nails, I so jealous :)

Thanks! If you like purple you could use 3 purple polishes that are slight darker than the last. This is a tutorial I found helpful when I first tried Ombre

I use the eyeshadow applicators and just dab a lot where the line is if that makes sense.

I make sure I don't apply at the exact same point of my nail each time so I'm layering the colours to get a more blended look, not sure I explained it well there tho, sorry x
