Go to your local drugstore like boots or super drug as they do skin testing to see what skin type you have and what foundation suits you best.

Your best bet is to go to a makeup consultant who will determine your undertone, skin type and perfect match.

Go to sephora they have color iq which is a machine that takes pictures of your skin and finds the right shade plus depending on your skin type which one will work best for you.

Illamasqua foundation has up to 18 shades so you can to the counter and ask for colour match.

So you need to think about your skin type and base the foundation on what you want your skin to look like - there are so many different options for foundation out there you rly need to do your own research to see what would be the best fit for you - a great place to start is at the makeup counter at sephora or a department store - you can tell the consultant how your skin is currently n what you want your skin to look like and they can make a few recommendations including some free samples for you to try - for color match you need to determine if your skin color is cool, warm or neutral - does your skin have a more pink or more yellow hue or a bit of both? the best way to tell is look on the inside of your wrist and if your veins show blue through your skin you probably have a pink undertone if its green probably yellow tone if its both then you are neutral from there determine if you are light skin medium or dark skin - this should be obvious - do you get sunburns easily? then you are light if you sunburn occassionally but rarely then probably medium if you rarely ever sunburn without spf then probably dark - hope that helps for your starting point and good luck finding a good shade! another good way to test in the store put some on the inside of your wrist and if it blends out to match your skintone it will probably be a good match for your face - happy shopping!

You look very young, am I right? And your skin looks pretty flawless. You might just want a nice tinted moisturizer or BB cream? I would go sample Bobbi Brown or Laura Mercier. I would probably lean towards the same brands for foundation. I've only used Laura Mercier's mineral foundation but I like her colors. Maybe try M.A.C, honestly though you seem like an easy color to match and M.A.C can be kind of hit or miss. I would avoid Clinique, their foundations are too "pink" for most people. MUFE and NARS seem good too.

Research, research... Its difficult to find the right one for you, for myself I like to read reviews online... Find about three that you like and ask for samples at sephora or ulta to figure out which is the best for your skin. Personally I believe splurging on good foundation and concealer and using drugstore for the rest of my makeup. Also make sure to use a good moisturizer and primer as well, drugstore is fine but you might find something more expensive that you like.
Also invest in make up brushes (elf cosmetics studio line are super good and very cheap)
