Hey just wondering what you guys use to put foundation on? I've been using the regular foundation brush but it's been looking a little cakey so I switched to sponges. I've just recently purchased the beauty blender but I heard a stippling brush is really good. Anyone try it and would recommend using it?

Personally stippling brushes do work good, but it really depends on the foundation. My foundation works better with sponges. I'd give it a try though:) I recommend the ELF's stippling brush its cheap but works amazing.

I use Tarte's airbrush foundation brush and I adore it. Everything goes on evenly and smooth.

Tarte's kabuki airbrush for their powder. I've used stippling too. However the cakeyness has nothing to do with tool but with the foundation. What foundation do you use?

A Normal foundation brush should be doing the trick. If its been looking cakes the reason might be it needs to be washed?! They have Dailey cleanser for brushes or once a month shampoo for them! Helps keep it new.

I use revlons photoready foundation. I've used it with multiple brushes and even my fingers and it goes on great. It just goes on thick when I use a foundation brush for some reason :S ohh and when I washed one of my other foundation brushes, it made it look even more cakier! I like to have the foundation as a really thin coat on my face because the colour starts becoming different to my skin tone if I keep piling it on LMAO.
