I like the mac concealer and I rarely buy high end butid say it's worth it..my under eyes are purple and it does a good job covering up.

Rimmel Conceal a Blemish is amazing! one of my new favorites it's comparable to mac studio finish.
I prefer cream concelaers for covering acne since they tend to blend nicely into the skin.
Also Urban Decay 24/7 concealer
and MAC studio finish.

Maybelline concealer is great, but Mac pro long wear concealer literally lasts until you wipe it off with makeup remover.

For acne I like clinique's acne concealer it has green tint to cover redness n a matte finish so your scar doesn't look shiney - otherwise I also like MUFE, kat von d and dermablend for great full coverage no matter how dark or discolored the scar they make them look almost invisible.

Mac doesn't break everyone out, I'm acne prone and all my face products are mac.
It's a trial and error thing- I still recommend trying them out.

I understand that everyones face is different n ppl have different levels of sensitivity esp with acne but there are many ppl out there that can confirm mac products broke them out like crazy and that alone just shows how horrible the products are for anyone's skin and with my acne personally I wouldn't take a chance on products that aren't made with the best noncomedogenic ingredients - its not worth the 2-3 month long healing process to get rid of the acne that results from it... but that's just me and I don't want to make my skin any more angry than it already is.

There are a million factors that go into skin breaking out so it's extremely possible it's not even the mac products but people just assume it is.
I'm sure there are people that may be allergic or sensitive to ingredients in it.
But it can also be a hormonal change at the time you begin using those products, your eating habits or sleeping patterns change. Your body getting used to a new product or just a breakout.
I know people who have sworn to hate MAC and whatever and then have gone back to it and loved it.
Assuming that the breakout was because of that product.
I'm just saying- my skin is very sensitive and I have never had an issue with mac.

I think someone started the whole mac causes breakouts thing and now there's a stigma and people assume any pimple is because of mac.
I've had breakouts where I thought maybe it is my foundation and it turned out to be my new facial wash.
