Is their real by benefit worth buying ladies?? I have short lashes and wanted to try the product but iffy because of the price. If its worth it I'll slurge on it...
Was also going to get lashes added to eyes, but heard you should put mascara on them cause you will wreck them faster... True??

I love They're Real!! It is pricey but I think you can get samples of it sometimes from Sephora and Ulta. That way you can make sure if you like it enough to pay for the full size.
I also heard that lash extensions won't last as long if you use mascara. Maybe it depends on the type of lashes you get

they're real is absolutely amazing at length and seperation...i am a mascara junkie so i normall wear 2 or 3 different mascaras in a day i always were they're last becasue its great at taking out any clumps that the other mascaras have made....doesnt give the most volume but if wat your looking for is length and seperation its definetely worth it....sephora has a package deal right now for the same price as the original u can get the deluxe set with the full size and a travel size....

A good lengthening mascara to try is LORAC's Special Effects Mascara. It's a double-sided mascara... which I really was never quite a fan of until I tried this product. Side One is a conditioning/lash priming agent.. it applies nice and even with a translucent finishing.. so your lashes aren't coated in some opaque white goop. It's a stiff rubber brush, so you can begin to work at the volume and length you would like to achieve without coating the lashes in mascara.
Side Two is the mascara, same rubber brush.. doesn't seem like anything too special, but the formula literally glides effortlessly over the lashes... lashes look long and healthy.. not dry or chunky at all.
It's REALLY worth a try. Lorac is so under-rated because they have some of the best products.

If you want to build length to your lashes w/o getting extensions, invest in a nylon fiber mascara. If you do splurge fr the extensions then no makeup on the lashes! :) PS I love They're Real but I've seen Cannonball by Urban Decay work wonders on short lashes. It doesn't say there is nylon fibers in there but I've seen it build onto lashes wonderfully. I think Make up Forever also sells lash fibers. Toofaced has "Better Than False Lashes", however I find I hate the mascara that comes with the fibers and I end up using a defining mascara to "finish" the application. On the cheaper side, Essence, has lash fibers in a little container.

I didn't like it that much. I think it's average if anything. I was recently recommended on Beautylish to try Maybelline Volum' Express Colossal and I'm so happy with it. It adds length, curls your lashes and builds volume very well. Also, it isn't clumpy at all which is a bonus.

I usually use Loreal voluminous, love how it builds up my lashes, i tried benefit, it was ok, just had to remember to let it set before adding another coat or it got really clumpy. But for the price to me it was just average.

IMO, not worth it. Revlon Photoready 3D Volume is much cheaper, has a very similar brush to They're Real!, and (IMO at least) a better formula. (For me, Benefit's formula is a little too wet, if that makes sense?)

BEST.MASCARA.EVER!I have gone through so many tubes and I have short blonde lashes so I feel your pain. That mascara and MUFE Smoky Lash is amazing!
