I've been noticing everytime I blow dry and then straighten using a heat protecter my hair becomes frizzy after an hour or so especially the top and sides. I would like my hair to be just smooth, is there any way to make it smooth or is it the heat protector I'm using...I need help.

Could just be the change in weather. Don't know where you live but where I live we now have a light mist (moisture) in the air and if that's the case it could explain the frizzy hair.

Make sure you do not blow dry your hair on "Hot" instead try "Warm" and if you don't have to dry you hair, don't. Because blowing drying your hair only makes frizz and break off's worse. Also when using a straightener make sure you have on a low temp and go slowly through your hair.

Keratin products can help! I personally use a few drops of argan oil by pro naturals after blow drying and that makes my hair sleek.
