The DIY may fade and run quickly if you're going in water, especially pool water.

Like how they make thw iron on t-shirts
well they have I think screening pain or soemthing that is like the same thing except you xan draw or do whatever with it , almost like puffy paint , goodluck!

You have to be careful with swimsuit material and fabric paint/anything that irons on or glues on because chlorine will either make this fade at a high pace, or come off (if you put rhinestones on for example). However, I don't have any other recommendations than those, sorry :( Good luck though! :)
