I thought you were supposed to dye your hair when it's freshly washed so the dyes can absorb into the hair properly? :s

You can still color your hair. it won't make a difference. I am a hair stylist and you can still use conditioner.

They main reason they advise unwashed hair is so that the natural oils in your hair have built up a little on your scalp and will help protect it.
