Definitely not that much, in all honestly I don't find that flattering on anyone (and I used to use them) they're such hard work to keep up and it just costs tons in hair spray. Not to mention for that desired look you have to tease it and get layers which isn't good for your hair especially if you're doing it constantly. I would just part it to the side, then get bangs cut.

Lmfao I remember when I used to have the 'helmet hair' xD it costs a lot in hairspray and its super bad for the health of your hair! I don't think its flattering on anyone
