Long story short; I did ombre LAST november and it literally killed my hair. I cut a lot of my ends in april but still kept some length. My hair has grown probably 2 centimeters since then -__- I use a sulfate free shampoo and deep condition with a mix of shea butter, coconut oil, and avacado twice a week. I use argan oil when my hair is damp and spray a little heat protectant when I straighten/blow dry. My hair is naturally curly and that shows in the top of my hair but my ends, the last inch and a half is just dead straight broken and all bad. :(
Anything you recommend to help?
I'm thinking of just starting over and cutting it and going shoulder length..will it look okay?
Thanks for any help!

Hello there! (: Yes I think you should cut your hair like that it will look beautiful on you! And I would not recommend using any heat! That will make your hair even worse! Also avoid using hairspray.

Never dye your hair again just cut it and try different hair treatments. Also use a good leave in conditioner.

Cutting it is seriously the only option you have if that other stuff isn't helping. An inch and a half really isn't too much. That's honestly just a little more than you normally need cut off when you get your hair cut anyway.

If its already dead and damaged there's no revving it. I think a hair cut would be the best option. Maybe you can tell your hair stylist ' I want to cut off all the bad dead hair ' and she can show you how much she is going to cut off. However if youre going that shirt and if you have curly hair ( not wavy hair that people call curly for some reason ) be advised that your hair won't weigh itself down and it'll open up more in shape.

That cut looks fab! I say go for it. And I recommend using pro naturals hair repair system to keep your hair healthy too.

Thanks everyone, I'm going to go ahead and cut it, I don't know exactly how much will go but I know its the best option.
My hair is crazy curly lol but I was so stupid to put so much heat on it and ruin them so now I'm working to bring them back! So excited :) thanks
