Hey I have tried the holographic nail polish and it only looks like it does in the picture if its in very bright light, otherwise it looks grey, is there anything you can do to enhance the colour so it looks more colourful without so much light?

I think it must be the actual nail polish that isn't very holographic. I have one from.urban outfitters that looks amazing in really low light. a lot of brands come out with holo polish but most if them aren't that great like maybelline color show ones aren't that great. try testing them before you buy it to make sure its a real holo. I think thats all you really can do if you want it to have a strong effect. sorry /:
