I was looking at reviews on biotin and prenatal vitamins and some of the girls were saying they're not for oral use but to crush them into your shanpoo.so that's where I got lost at

Yeah Diana is spot on, your hair is dead keratin pushed out from the scalp. The only way of improving your hair is a good diet and even then it will not make it look amazing.

I've read somewhere on internet how to make hair grow super fast ( a lot of things to do, not just a mask or smth), but itg very bad for hair because this 'express' lenght is very weak, fragile and breaks. So be healthy, gentl to your hair and patient. I know that it's not easy because I growing my hair too for last 2 years and still need to grow about 10 inches, and... I feel too that it takes forever to grow:-)

Diana is right in that it really doesn't work. If you want your hair to grow longer you could try a shampoo like mane and tail!

You could take the prenatals or biotin, but all that would do is give your body the nutrients it's missing. Once they get into your system, your hair, nails, etc.would become healthy enough to grow, but the actual supplement itself does nothing, especially when it's crushed up and being applied to dead follicles. I've been using mane and tail for years and my hair grows pretty fast.

I honestly die a little inside every time I see one of these posts. You can not take pills to make your hair grow faster and you definitely can not put vitamins on DEAD CELLS which cannot absorb nutrients to make hair grow faster. The rate in which your hair grows is determind by genetics and hormones, etc., the only thing that can change your hair growth rate is illness, improper diet, etc. which make it grow slower. I have heard hair grows faster while you are pregnant, but I have not personally looked into it but I do remember learning that pregnancy can change something about the hair cycle temporarily.

My cuzin had told me that alt of girls do it a while back and I tried it and it hasn't done nothing to mine but proly make it feel worse, so it's not true in my opinion.
