Whenever I apply foundation it never goes on correctly around my mouth... Like it always leaves a ring around my mouth? What could this be?

How do you apply it? I don't get what you mean by it.Your skin could possibly be dry I can't think why it would do that.

Try taking a beauty blender and patting it in.

Just try to blend it in a little better because I had a problem like that too.

It sounds like you don't have the correct color foundation. you shouldnt be able to see any distinct difference from your skin to your foundation. try another color. you can get color matched at a department store like mac, have them suggest your color then go online and find a lower cost makeup that is a dupe of that color. also try using concealer around your lips, pat it gently with a concealer brush over your foundation and use a powder to "set" the makeup. you don't need a lot of powder just use a round puff and gently press against skin. don't rub it around, pat it and that will keep you makeup from budging for hours (unless you sweat a lot or are very oily)
