Modesty, faux, hug me and syrup are from MAC and are gorgeous colours. They are sheer so not over powering. I have found when I buy lipsticks that look good themselves they make me look like I have concealer on my lips. Not cute lol.

If your skin has an olive undertone at all, it can make nudes wash you out
I ended up going with a M.A.C lipstick in a slightly purple hue. somehow, it looks nude on me. no more white washed out lips!

@nabeelah, if you find a nyx butter gloss that fits you as a nude. definitely get it. Idk nyx availablity in UK. but I kno it'd fron Germany so I'd assume its there?.
