Yes there's sharpening... I don't know about twisting up I tried and nothing happened. Get the NYX Sharpeners if there's one because my sharpener did it but not all the way.

I don't know about you, I have the same pencils she has in the pictures.
Turns out you have to freeze them for 15 minutes because the products goes as your sharpen them... that's so weird but it works, lol.

Yes I swear to god I googled it and everyone was like you have to freeze them because when you sharpen it the product goes away with it. So I tried that and now I can sharpen it... Weirdest thing I've ever seen lol.

Idk, I thought I twisted mine but I havent used it down yet. using a elf n rimmel jumbo liner right now. ill keep freezing it in mind if I have problems.

I sharpen mine with a regular makeup Double barrow sharpener.The freezing works because it's a soft tip and makes sharpening easier so you don't use up all the product when sharpening any pencils.

Alma hit it on the head. I use Ulta's double sharpener, works great!
