Would milk of magnesium be okay to put on eyelids since it is supposed to help with oily skin? I use mac painterly paint pot for my primer and my shadow still slides off during the day :/

Oooh I have this problem. It's irritating. Try to blot as much oil off your lids as possible. Then use a really good eyelid primer even underneath the paint pot.
You can try
-NARS Smudge proof Eyeshadow base
-Tarte Clean Slate 360 creaseless 12-hr smoothing primer
