Okay so I have a decent amount of makeup, not much high end makeup because I'm a teenager and it's a struggle now a days. Lol but I really wanna try out products as far as beauty wise. And I see a bunch of sites for free makeup/beauty samples but I'm afraid some might be scams. So if anyone knows of any ways I could get free samples sent to me or websites to try, let me know. Gimme some tips or ideas. Please.

If you want truly free samples, you can try going on a lot of makeup brands Facebook pages. They usually have giveaways for their new products. I entered one for NARS and they sent me 3 shades of their new cream foundation, along with a primer. Or you could try sites like birchbox.com. You have to pay 10$ a month.

I hear a lot of people have ipsy, which is also 10$ a month for some full size stuff, I hear you usually get 5 things per bag. I'm going to sign up as soon as I get started with my new jobs..
Also, sephora gives out samples on products but they're in little containers and you have to go to a store and talk to a consultant about it.

If you have a Mary Kay consultant they can give you a facial which is usually personalized skin care, foundation, mascara and eye color. That's what I do at least! :)

When I am at the mall I ask for samples. Sometimes sales women can be a little rude about it, but it doesn't faze me though, I'm not going to spend my money on a high end product that I don't know it I'm going to like. Going with a friend could probably make it less intimidating.

Don't know wher3 you're from but here in the Netherlands they don't give out samples, so I always check every beauty store and make up store for any discounts and buy the more expensive stuff when it's on sale. saved me a lot of money!
