Take an eyelash curler and curl your eyelashes first before applying anything on them, then take a very good quality mascara like falses or loreal and apply it on top of your eyelashes, then when you get it on good enough, take your mascara and apply it like normal on the eyelashes. It should work, then curl them afterwards with an eyelash curler.

Hi sam why don't you curl your lashes with a perm? I do that all the time in my salon. The curl will hold up for 8 weeks...

I agree with Mairead, that is not a good idea. Also heat up you curler with the hair drier. Telescopic is a good mascara. Have you ever thought of a perm as Maaike suggested or even eyelash extensions or strip lashes

Checkout farahuhaki's eye makeup tutorial on YouTube it is an amazing method. Make sure to clean your eyelash curler too because if you used it when there was still some mascara residue that can have a big impact. I use cvs's knockoff version of neutrogena oil free makeup remover and it works like a dream. But seriously checkout that video!

I have the same problem! I get round it by using maxfactor false lash effect mascara, which is the best one I've ever used. Apply one layer and leave it for a minute till its ALMOST dry, then for the last little bit while it dries, push them back/up with your finger and they should dry in a curled position! Repeat it again by applying with another light layer and pushing them back to reinforce it :) even tho its false lash effect mascara it doesn't look too much, just really long and natural! Another tip is before you apply the mascara in this way, run your eyelash curlers under a hairdryer for 5 seconds so they're warm and the lashes are more likely to stay in place :)

Use a mascara primer (loreal and mac have one) and este lauder has a double wear zero-smudge mascara that works AMAZING.

Better Than Sex mascara from Too Faced is absolutely amazing. It curls all on its own and the volume is awesome.

They're Real by Benefit works great on my straight, thin lashes. Also try running your curler under warm water first to heat it up and help set your curl.
