I dyed my hair & it did not come out the way I wanted? how long should I wait to dye it again?
also if my hair is currently black, and I want it brown. would a brown hair dye be good or no?

Let it fade out, putting a brown color won't do anything because 'color doesn't lift color', the only way to get lighter is let it fade or bleach it!

Try fading it. Use a strong shampoo like dandruff shampoo or adding a little dial soap to your current shampoo and it should lift the color. Or try a Brazilian treatment. You can get it at a beauty supply store.

You can lift the color, ultimatley bleaching it and then going in with a brown, but all of it would have to be done in intervals if you don't want to ruin your hair (I would say a week or 2 apart) and keep your hair hydrated, I've been using wen and its divine!

You are supposed to wait 4-8 weeks before re-dying. I suggest waiting eight.
