What is your costume? but back combing it and maybe some hairy dye not permanent but the one you can wash out right after! maybe add some fake cobwebs and plastic spiders or if you don't like doing much purchase a cheap crazy wig :)

I deffiantly think you should go big with your hair because the dress is simple and if you don't know about makeup you should totally go dark purple and black,your outfit is going to look fab whatever you do :)

You should crimp it! If you don't have a crimper take a shower and leave multiple braids on over night!
