Help! My eyelashes seem to be very sensitive or something because almost every time I wear mascara and take it off it pulls out quite a few lashes no matter how gentle I am. Is there a mascara that I could switch to that would help me avoid this problem? My lashes always grow back, I just hate when they fall out just from taking off makeup.

I think losing a few lashes is normal, but I have this problem too😔

How do you remove your mascara?

Buy some special oil for lashes at drugstore, and it's not normal for then to fall everytime you remove the makeup.

When you use waterproof mascara it's harder to remove so maybe you should switch to regular as long as you're not going anywhere you'd sweat or cry at.

Well I'm using regular mascara nothing water proof or anything, I typically use this Mary Kay makeup remover, although I'm not a fan of their products it's to help family member out. Then I wash my face after I have removed the makeup.

^ how many lashes do you usually lose when taking off your mascara? cause I usually lose 1-5 every time I'm washing my face, so I'm assuming it's normal, lol :p

Okay do this -- damp cotton pad, remove makeup with Vaseline, you will look a little like a panda but I promise the damp cotton pads will wipe it right off. Vaseline is a better option and also it Is good for the lashes! :) good luck x

Use olive or coconut oil in between your fingers and gently rub the mascara off. :) it's also very conditioning to the lashes.

Extra olive oil works great for removing eye makeup. It's also very gentle on the lashes!

Try using non-waterproof mascara and skip primer then. Try buying some eyelash serum.

Thanks everyone! This is super helpful. I typically loose 3+ lashes when I remove my makeup when I'm lucky only one. Any mascara anyone would suggest that's not harsh on lashes?

The best trick is to use castor oil overnight with disposable mascara wands!! Very cheap and effective...lashes grow longer and stronger
