I just made a homemade exfoliant that contained sea salt, vanilla extract and baby oil. I used it in the shower and then thoroughly washed my body again with soap 3 times to ensure all the oil was off. But after drying off, I still feel slightly oily. Is this bad for my skin? Will this make my skin more acne prone? And how can I not feel oily?

Baby oil I find is harder than olive oil or coconut oil to wash off. I'm nit sure if it'll make your skin more acne prone but for me, it was back to normal the next day.

The molecules of baby oil are too large to penetrate your skin so that is why you would still be feeling oily. I would definitely recommend doing your scrub with either olive oil or a coconut oil because these will penetrate the skin into the deeper layers and contain powerful antioxidants and other goodness that will be much better for your skin!!

I use to have very oily skin and I would use olive oil on my face at night time. Now I am much less oily because it tricks your skin into thinking it's produced it, and therefore the oil production slows itself down :)

Even rice bran oil is a good choice!
