I've seen a few contouring how to's, some using liquid and a few using powdered bronzers and highlighters. Does it really matter which one you use or which do you think has a better end result?

I think it's a matter of personal preference, honestly!

I'm definitely not the expert so the experts can chime in LOL but I've noticed contouring with powder is a lot more subtle than using a liquid. liquid contouring is better for dramatic looks but I don't care to change the shape of my face so I just use too faced chocolate soleil bronzer (which is a powder) to give some dimension and color. but for contouring it's best to use cool toned (almost like a grayish taupe) to add dimension rather than a golden bronze color.

I prefer powder, although I have used cream. I find I have better control with powder, and it's easier to blend and build up.

I use a powder for the dark contour and a liquid for the highlight! It works well for me :)

Powder is best for oily skin and creams are good if your skin is dryer.
