I tell you what I really hate is when you take you time to answer a question in detail an the person never even comes back to the thread to say hey thanks I think we all deserve a thank you for the info

I think its a matter of personal preference. I appreciate the looks that are different and skillfully done. But I love the simple looks because that's what I like for myself. A no-makeup makeup look is just my thing. But I still give props to all the art on here.

I prefer simple with skill (even the simplest needs skill), but I love looking at big elaborate skilled ones, I want to do special effects makeup.

Good morning all, I'm waking up while I drink my coffee.I enjoyed reading all of your comments and thank you for taking the time to comment I appreciate it.I agree Symone, I've noticed that to.@Naomi I'm drawn to everything from artist to new makeup lovers, and I believe that we all have the idea what is good or ok or not so great to bad.We share our thoughts all the time here on BL lol but hey could it be the lighting on the pictures? Or the way its edited to catch our eye or is it truly the work that's displayed? All of you had expressed good points and funny ones as well especially the pink lipstick point.I wonder if that pink lipstick wasn't messed with in a pic and it was full on the Raw picture would it get that many likes? Natural makeup to extreme makeup if its worth a look and you see its beautiful why not encourage it, and give our true feed back.I've seen and liked most of your work and I could see you put the time into it and can't understand why its not on that picture forum whether its makeup, nails ect.I don't know but its sad that so many get lost in the shuffle.I enjoy good work and I can see when it was a moment of passion or expression of the art, I'm just not keen on the ok I just put this on my face so like it and then it gets all these over the top compliments and people asking to make a tutorial on a messy application of a leopard lol (that was the random thought of my example) or another example is why does the picture with really bad contour that looks like poop steak across the face and bad highlight that makes you look like a Capuchin monkey get 300 or up likes? But when you have a great artist like Jacqueline H who has beautiful work of a photo shoot she did and the makeup is on point and just stunning gets over looked or Ben D who has great work as well, its fun and out of the box color and glitter beauty is also over looked.@Nikelle I'm loving your nurse pic its awesome full of scare :-) You put thought into it its great.I wonder what is going on here but I encourage all of us to look at some of the pic's when you have time and venture out and like if you do I promise you that you'll be so surprised on all the over looked talent that's here on BL. :-) just type in a random name like (snake or crow or what have you and all the pictures with that key word will Pop up.

I like the more daring looks. I guess that's because I use to manage a couple of counters. With the age range on here that's the main reason for the differences.

I'm into simplicity since Idk how to do the more detailed work. but I like everytime I see a good picture. I don't really like the plain pics since I see them everyday. but when I see a picture that catches my eye I like it(:

When I like a photo it's because I want to save the look and try it on or be inspired by it. I'm not a pro and want makeup I can wear to everyday events, so often it's the more simple looks. It doesn't mean that I don't look at and appreciate the more artistic looks though! I really do. Just rarely ❤️ them, cause then the looks I'm saving to try would get lots in all the photos.

I like simplicity and I look to improve my skills in variety of simple and everyday looks. I am also interested in corrective make up.
Having said that I love looking at make ups that are more difficult technically and admire skills of the artist or how to use different colours (especially bold ones) to create something interesting.

This is a great thread that started. thank you Alma for noticing the little bit that I do.
I definitely agree with Traci L... y post a question if you don't care to know the answer. I replied to one post and that's all there was lol... the person never responded... there were no other replies. I felt like what was the point?
I like many different photos on here from the most simple to the most extreme. my eye is drawn to art and creativity no matter what the forum or type of medium used.
