I have like really easy breakable nails.. Is there any way to get rid of this like first layer of free edge that cracked? Idk if you can see it in the pic..

My Great grandma told me a trick that if you stick your nails in a piece of garlic they will grow long and thick I tried it and my nails got thick but the growth stayed the same.

OMG thank you! I will definitely give it a try! I'm not too worried about the length.. It's just how thin my nails are that bothers me.
