Hey ladies, I was just hoping somebody could give me some advice here because I don't know what else to try! My skin is like basically flawless in the summer but as soon as it starts getting cold, I start getting cystic acne around my chin area. I wash my face religiously, use toner and a good moisturizer. As far as makeup goes, I use tarte bb cream and trumatch powder. My skincare line is by clinique btw! Any ideas? Products to try??

It starts off dry and by the end of the day, I do have some oil in my t-zone.

Hmmm to me it sounds like your skin is reacting to that drastic change in temperature. In the summer there is a lot of moisture and humidity in the air which your skin seems to like. In the winter it becomes very dry, even for my oily skin I notice certain areas of my body become very dry. I suggest maybe mixing up your skincare routine. You still need to moisturize everyday and a scrub might help but you should only be doing this 1-2 times a week. I suggest trying Simple Skincare products. I also suggest going to a beauty spa and see a professional. I find they give amazing skin advice compared to seeing a dermatologist.

If you like your skincare don't change it, clinique is good and if your face is good using it then thats awesome!! I get cystic acne too and I was my face reliqiously as well (my skincare is origins) I would suggest the acne spot treatment in the line and possibly purchasing and extractor because when those bad boys decide they want to come out you want to make sure that they come out all the way!!
