I'm planning to do a youtube tutprial but I can't decode between doing a nicki minaj makeup tutorial (will be very colorful, etc) or arabic (winged black eyeliner and smokey shadow look).

what do you think I should do?

If you're not Arabic then I wouldn't do an Arabic look, so stick with Nicki.

I'd go for the arabic one , I'm lebanese and love colors but since winter is coming up maybe some dark colors would go better 😊 gd luck with your tutorial and send me the link whenev your done 😁

You don't have to be arabic to do a arabic look so I don't know why @Erin M. would even say that. Thats like saying you have to be black to do a Nicki Minaj look. I say do both girl its only a makeup tutorial on YouTube you can just space them out.

Doing a look of a certain culture that isn't your own is culture appropriation. Just like it she did a 'black inspired look' or 'Asian inspired' look, or putting on a Native American headdress for Halloween when you aren't Native American or being a geisha, 'spanish gangster (I've seen that around), or anything else that is outside of your culture that holds significance.

Nicki Manaj is a person, not a race or culture so it wouldn't matter if she did a look inspired after her. So that's why I said that ladies.
