Long story short: I dyed my hair today & it turned out black. :( do any of you know what color I shoulld use in order to get it the color I want it?

I think you should let it fade out, box colors tend to be very unpredictable, or your hair could be very porous from a lot of previous coloring and just sucked the color up. I once colored my hair with a medium brown and it was black with a red tint! but either way it should fade out pretty quickly!

Just wash your hair a lot it should fade out and lemon juice and the sun will make it lighter.

Chocolate browns often turn into black, but give it a chance... After 24-48hours wash you hair, it could become lighter... But if after 2-3 washes it won't become more choco, then...:-)
