So, a few days ago I dyed my entire head a teal color. Because my hair was almost black to begin with, they had to bleach my whole head a lot, and now I'm concerned with keeping my hair healthy while maintaining the color. Right now, half of my hair feels healthy, and the other half feels like straw. Any suggestions for color friendly moisturizing products or routines? Thanks!

I apply conditioners all the time, I have bleached hair. II personally like the Kerastase masque, but a budget friendly alternative would be gliss. Moisture is key!

Hanna, there are not too many things to do. After bleaching from black I had following problerms:
1. lot of dead and super damaged hair -> solution was a new haircut (I've cut about 20 cm)
2. hair didn't hold the color ->... I now that in salons is a procedure called pigmenation, it could help, or maybe in time hair will fill in with new dye, but a year ago I went from platinum blonde to dark blobde/ light chestnut and that bleached hair still don't hold the color...
3. reddish tint -> using shadows which contain green pigments
Try some serums for ends to prevent splitted ends because it is the 4th problem.
A mask 1 time a week, balsam everytime (sorry can't recommend brands because of living in another country) But I liked Bonacure line for damaged hair, is very gently. Also you may try hair lamination to make bleached hair look better and more shiny.

Okay thanks Sarah! And Diana, my hair is shockingly teal right now, my concern is how to keep it that way for a while. My hair holds color really well for the most part, I just don't want to wash it excessively. However, I'd still like it to feel nice. I'll try your suggestions to make my hair feel better, thank you!
