Do you use primer and moisturizer before putting on your foundation? And what do you apply your foundation with?

I use both a cetaphil moisturiser then a w7 anti redness primer and I use a normal foundation brush I got the begining of this year but its still soft and useable.

Yes! ^ MUFE is such a great foundation that does not cake at all no matter how much you use, has great coverage, and stays matte all day! Get a sample at sephora, you'll love it! Or try Kat Von D's foundation too, it's a maximum coverage :)

Unfourtantley living in the uk I can not get those things :( I've been dying to try Kat Von D's foundation as I love her and I have heard such good reviews,I may have to try the loreal true match foundation as it.has many shades.I don't know if other girls my colour (mixed with black and white) have the same problem but it is so difficult finding the perfect foundation :( thanks for the suggestions though I appreciate them so much :)

It sounds like it's your skin having issues with a product and No matter how many time's you switch foundations you'll stiil have the problem unless you figure out what is not agreeing. Here is a link to a thread that's similar to your question.:) http://www.beautylish.com/t/rwavai/my-foundation-looks-orange-please-help

Instead of putting that on your face everyday, I would try to naturally get rid of it first. Try finding some type of dark sport corrector cleanser and if that doesn't work, MAC has nice foundations :)

Try using toner, moistruizer and primer alltogether!

First off, start with a clean base! Wash your face, moisturize, and then apply your favorite primer. For foundation, make sure it is your skin tone and that it is good for your skin type. Be sure to use a brush to blend the product into your skin instead of fingers for example. Don't layer on too much, as that could cause some of it to look cakey. If you do all these things, it's definitely your foundation.
