An hour or so after I've straightened my hair, the ends flip up and towards my face, or outward! How do I fix this?

Maybe you need to upgrade your straightener or just use some pro naturals argan oil on the ends to keep them smooth.

Lot's of hairspray. but maybe it's your straightener, when mine got old that started happening too I bought a new one and now my hair doesn't do that anymore

Happens to me, glad I'm not the only one. Can't be tell straightener though cause I have ghds. I just think it's the end of your hair which need cutting. I got mine cut yesterday and it still flicked out. I asked my hairdresser and she said once I wash my hair it will set. The flicks will soon fall out don't worry x

Mine used to do that, but now I have a better straightener and I spray nutrient hair oil on my hair before I straighten it (:
