Okay, so I have dry color treated hair that gets oily at the roots easily. I use pureology shampoo and conditioner right now. I'm very used to washing my hair every day to get rid of build up, but I'm trying to get used to washing less. What are some good dry shampoos or other products that I can use in between washes to keep my hair from looking oily?

TRESemme is awesome, love the scent, does the job of removing oil and doesn't leave any white residue behind! Another alternative would be Klorane! :)

Use ketokonazole 2% solution after washing your hair skip conditioning in the shower, it increases oilyness switch to leave in sprays/serums. the 2% solution reduces oil secretion and keeps the hair fresh for longer time.

Try Batiste. I've tried a ton of different ones and it's the most effective for me.

Where can you purchase them?

Most drugstores carry different brands of dry shampoo. Batiste can be found at Ulta or Harmon.

Alert. I purchased a tres semme fresh start dry shampoo and its terrible! I sometimes like to use dry shampoo later on the day, even when I've washed my hair, for extra volume. this stuff MADE my hair oily. I later tried on day 2 hair and it made it oiler. Anyone else having this issue? best so far for me is Batiste!

I had the exact same issue with the Tresemme, MJ. It was absolutely terrible. I know people that love it though, which confuses me to no end.. but yeah. Awful. Batiste rules them all haha.
