Hey guys, so I just went on a loose eyeshadow/pigment binge and Bought loads of them. i want to be able to do different things with the pigments, such as create lines, use as lip gloss etc... Now for the eyes. I know MAC, Inglot (and so many other brands) create mixing mediums... Ladies so my question is which one is the best, most durable mixing medium? Any suggestions :) (Price is not a problem BUT if it's amazing AND inexpensive, then that's great).
Appreciate it :)

My favorite mixing medium is water =] Works just as good as other mediums, that are mostly water!

Agreed with Evaline - Most mixing mediums are just a glycerine & water mix. You could buy a whole bottle glycerine in Wallgreens or any other drugstore. =D

I make my own through my company, Pumpkin and Poppy cosmetics. I don't mind sharing my recipe....its 3 parts distilled purified water to 1 part vegetable glycerin. I add some natuarl preservative (potassium sorbate) so that will last longer. You can just mix up a very small dropper bottle and just make it as you need it though if you'd like. It works great. The trick for foiling is to just make sure you don't use too much...you want it to be the consistency of crumbly clay.
